1. My top Seattle experience is the Public Market Center, eating fresh fish standing at a fish shop bench.
2. I hugely sympathize with this cool, trendy, progressive, well-organized city
3. To see the world’s first Starbucks cafe with a couple dancing the tango in front of it
4. an incredible number of cafes, restaurants, bars
5. The exciting, beautiful location of the city, varied topography, lakes, parks, mountains, lots of hills
6. The air is fresh, clean, a walkable city for a tourist
7. The Museum of Pop Culture was a lot of fun
8. The hipster Capito Hill District and the post-hippie Fremont District
9. Ballard and Wallingford, attractive residential neighborhoods
10. We made the right accommodation choice with The University District (U District) - plenty of options for breakfast and dinners
11. Go up to the lookout in Space Needle
12. Travel on a ferry in nice weather
13. Eat seafood chowder at the port
1. Rain, wind, fog, thick cloud, the gray sky during most of our stay
2. That we missed the underground city tour
3. Too many homeless (some of them aggressive) and drug addicts in the central streets (e.g., around Pioneer Square), a bit scary in the evenings
4. Lots of steep streets (hard to walk so much uphill)
5. Downtown parking is very expensive
6. There are some boring street sections in the city center among the attractive neighborhoods
7. An ugly area between the market and the sea
8. Chinatown is nothing special
9. The waterfront area is too commercial, touristy, most of the eateries are not cozy
