“Bilbao is not such a crowded tourist center, which I think is mainly because its reputation has not yet spread so widely.

If you visit Bilbao, be prepared for the fact that almost none of the locals speak English, and even if the younger generation does, they don't like to show off their knowledge and will be very grateful if you try to mumble a word or two in Spanish (or, even better, Basque).
The city is one of the cleanest places I've ever been to. They hose down the streets every night, and they are painfully attentive to the issue of garbage disposal.” (2018)
